  • Thursday and Friday will be devoted to the presentation of European projects

Standard Language Arts

  • DOL-Sentence combining
  • Wordly Wise Lesson 15-dictionary work
  • Caught ya Grammar-# 25-#29-sent. types, use of apostrophes, verb tense agreement, conjunctions, simile, and run on sentences
  • ThinkLink Test B Thursday
  • Continue novel Romeo and Juliet- discuss questions from Act 1
  • Have multiple choice paper due Tuesday
  • Have Act 2 read by Friday
  • Spelling and definition test Friday

APEX Language Arts

  • Daily analogies-object/function, synonyms, agent/object, object/function, part/whole, and degree
  • Grammar- Giggles in the Middle #24-#28, all edits are due on Friday; types of sentences, use of commas (interrupters), homophones, plural rules, sub./pronoun agreement, who vs. whom, abbreviations, foreshadowing, and active vs. passive voice
  • Introduction to FANBOYS (for, and, nor, but, or, yet, and so)
  • Writing-Expository (Explanatory) essay. Begin Tuesday due Thursday.
  • ThinkLink Test B Thursday
  • Video on Shakespeare-take notes-quiz afterwards
  • Continue novel Romeo and Juliet- Reassign roles for Act 2-Act 2 to be read by Thursday
  • Novel vocabulary activities – all due no later than Wednesday
  • Reading guide comprehension questions due Thursday
  • Spelling/definition test on Friday
  • Oral reading of Act 2 Thursday
